Disinfectant Products
Equiphoria has access to the full range of Aqueos products. We use Aqueos disinfectant products to disinfect bits during fitting consultations, to ensure that these are kept germ free. A selection of Equiphoria recommended products are shown below; however, if there is anything you require from the Aqueos range, then please get in touch and ask for a price.
Aqueos disinfectants are proven to kill 99.999% of germs and have been tested in a range of both professional and domestic environments including stables, Racing Yards, Horse Transporters, Studs, Kennels, Dog Groomers and Veterinary Practices.
Aqueos Tack & Disinfectant Wipes
(200 wipes)
Dispensed from the top of the container, these wipes are Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Fungal, non-stick and fragrance free. The wipes are continuous, so can simply be pulled and torn to the desired length.
The packaging includes a lid to keep the contents free and fresh.
This product complies with the BS EN14476:2013 + A2:2019 standard and is effective against all enveloped viruses including all coronaviruses. It has also been independently tested against strangles and ringworm.
Aqueos Tack Cleaner & Disinfectant Spray

Provided as a pump sprayer, this product is a 2-in-1 cleaner / disinfectant solution. It is Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Fungal, non-stick and fragrance free and keeps tack and equipment germ free.
A 5 litre refill can be bought to refill this product, when finished.

Alternative Fly Spray
(500 ml)
An all-natural mixture of Aloe Vera and Alternative Fly spray is an easy-to-apply, chemical and alcohol-free protective film for the most awkward of areas. Ideal for use in heavily populated midge areas, it can also be used by riders and safely applied to other animals. Cools irritated areas and itching. Can be sprayed directly onto minor wounds, cuts and abrasions.
*1 l and 5 l refill bottles also available, so that you can re-use the pump sprayer bottle.
Wunder Gel with Neem

A multi-purpose Aloe Vera and Neem gel packed with nourishing vitamins & minerals for minor wound care. Aloe Vera includes 6 antiseptic agents, as well as being a wonderful skin conditioner. Neem is antibacterial, promotes new, healthy skin tissue, reduces scarring and promotes rapid hair re-growth.
Neem also gives long-lasting protection from biting insects, flies and midges, so is great for itchy horses/ponies who rub their manes and tails.
Wunder Gel soothes & moisturises itchy, cracked skin and is easy to apply to those sensitive, scabby areas such as heels and white socks.
Wunder Gel can be applied to humans & other animals - it should be in every grooming box/tackroom!
Neem Oil

Neem Oil is antibacterial and anti-fungal and contains vitamin E and many essential amino acids, which help moisturise and soothe the skin. Neem Oil's collagen properties promote healthy, new skin, reduce scar tissue and encourage rapid hair re-growth.
For horses that are bothered by flies and midges and rub and scratch away parts of their mane, tail and even their coat, Neem Oil is ideal.
Neem Oil has repellent properties and has been scientifically tested for use against midges.
Coolwash

Coolwash is a soothing but refreshing blend of peppermint, tea tree and aloe vera. Used after exercise, Coolwash removes sweat and grease residue and refreshes and cools the body, muscles and legs, with no need for rinsing. Coolwash lasts for hours and helps reduce your horse’s recovery time.
Coolwash does not include alcohol or chemicals which can dry out the coat, instead it nourishes and conditions the skin and coat. Coolwash can also be used as a leg brace and for bandage soaking. A 100% natural, biodegradable concentrate, a little goes a long way!
Lavendar Sunblock
(400g)
Lavender Sunblock combines cooling zinc oxide with soothing lavender and helps to shield delicate skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Lavender Sunblock soothes problematic, broken skin whilst giving sun protection and contains no skin-irritating chemicals. Once applied the cooling effects are instant, the paste will dry and usually lasts all day.
Highly recommended for lightly pigmented or thinly-haired animals, and can be used on yourself! Also good for irritating insect bites to help cool and soothe hot spots.
Neem Oil

This is a soothing and cleansing, light Aloe Vera gel formulated for minor wounds, cuts and abrasions. Manuka honey has antifungal and bacterial properties. It helps cleanse minor wounds and promotes a healthy environment for cell re-growth.The soothing and cooling Aloe Vera gel creates a light, breathable foundation for the Manuka, helping to decrease any itching. The Manuka also reduces scarring and encourages hair re-growth.
This easy-to-apply gel can be rinsed off effortlessly without leaving any sticky residue.
